I haven't seen anything about this, so I guess punch me in the mouth if this is old news, but my mind got to thinking again. When SHTF, a bug out bag is obviously the way to go, but you don't need to stop there.
What are some handy things you plan on having in your vehicle when it all goes down?
(On that note, I'd start getting prepared soon)
- Home made gas pump (as seen on Apocalypse Man. If you know of a better way, go on and share it)
- Gas cans (hopefully full)
- Tools (They can either fix your truck or fix a zombies face)
- Other vehicle needs (Motor oil, anti-freeze, ect)
- A few gallons of water
- Bag of ammo (I do plan on stocking up soon, and whatever I can find is mine)
- Bag of food (I also plan on going on random food raids. Ramen Noodles is a must)
- First Aid Kid (I don't need to explain, and have 2 if you can)
- Chains (Making things, fixing things, loading things, killing things. Got it?)
- Splitting maul (Oh, the things you can do)
- Weapons (If they're just there in the street, in good condition... who would blame you, right? Try not to bring too many. I'd try to limit it to 4 firearms, and that's even a bit much)
And it would be nice to have a pillow aswell. Pretty much all of these things you can fit in the cab of your truck or your car easily. Just learn how to make space for shit and tie as much down as you can. _________________ Q: What do you tell a bitch with two black eyes?

I didn't see this on your list, so...what about blankets? 'Tis mighty cold in the winter. And a sleeping bag as well, and what about a tent?
P.S: I know you have the truck, but something could happen to it..it's always good to be prepared, right? |

I wouldn't be all that worried about blankets m'man. I'm not sure why I didn't add that on the list, but yes, a sleeping system would have its purpose in life. Try for a small tent and a sleeping bag you can get as tight as possible. For the most part, I plan on sleeping in my truck though. _________________ Q: What do you tell a bitch with two black eyes?

| I just thought of the blankets because it can get cold in vehicles when they aren't on..and leaving your vehicle on for the 4-6 hours that you sleep per day probably isn't your best bet, thats all. |
